SenArts Wind Quintet was founded in 2020 in Barcelona. Its members, with lots of experiences playing together in different orchestras and chamber music groups, have played in orchestras such as Orquestra Simfònica de Catalunya i Barcelona, Orquesta Sinfónica de Bilbao, Philarmonia Zürich (Akademie), Mahler Chamber Orchestra (Akademie), Musikkollegium Winterthur, Spira Mirabilis, Suisse Romande, Bayerische Staatsoper and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
The members of the SenArts Wind Quintet met in Catalunya’s youth orchestra (JONC). Later, four of them studied Bachelor studies in ESMUC (Barcelona) where they received lessons from Dolors Chiralt, Vicents Prats, David Tomàs and Josep Fuster. They also received lessons from Felix Renggli, Will Sanders, Christian Lampers, Guilhaume Santana, Roeland Hendrikx and Jaan Bossier.
Currently, two of its players are members of Gran Teatre del Liceu Orchestra and the other three are members of Franz Schubert Filharmonia, both orchestras based in Barcelona.
